Privacy Policy
Effective May 8, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how LotWatch360 (“LotWatch360,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use our website, web application, and related services (collectively, the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to this policy.
1. Information we collect
Account information. When you create or are invited to an account, we collect your name, email address, and a hashed password. We never store passwords in plain text.
Usage information. As you use the Service we automatically collect information about your activity — pages viewed, features used, time spent, approximate location based on IP address, browser type, and device information. We use this to improve product quality and diagnose issues.
Communications. If you contact us by email or through an in-app form, we keep a record of that correspondence.
Public dealer data. The Service displays inventory and pricing information that we collect from publicly available dealership websites. This is not your personal information; it is information about retail vehicle inventory aggregated from sources accessible to any member of the public.
2. How we use information
- To provide, operate, and improve the Service
- To authenticate your account and protect it from unauthorized access
- To send transactional emails (account invitations, password resets, security alerts)
- To respond to your inquiries and provide customer support
- To analyze how the Service is used so we can prioritize features and fix bugs
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service
3. Sharing of information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with:
- Service providers who help us operate the Service — including Supabase (database and authentication), Resend (transactional email delivery), Railway (hosting), and Cloudflare (DNS and edge caching). Each is bound by contract to use information only as directed.
- Legal compliance. We may disclose information when required by law, subpoena, or to protect our rights, property, or safety.
- Business transfers. If LotWatch360 is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
4. Cookies and similar technology
We use first-party cookies for authentication (so you stay signed in) and limited usage analytics. We do not use cookies for cross-site advertising or behavioral targeting.
5. Data retention
We retain account information for as long as your account is active. Usage data is retained for up to 24 months. You may request deletion of your account and associated personal information at any time by writing to hello@lotwatch360.com.
6. Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or limit our processing of your personal information. California residents have rights under the CCPA/CPRA, and EEA/UK residents have rights under the GDPR. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at hello@lotwatch360.com. We will respond within 30 days.
7. Security
We use industry-standard safeguards — TLS encryption in transit, encryption at rest for sensitive fields, role-based access controls, and audit logging. No system is perfectly secure, but we work hard to protect your information.
8. Children
The Service is intended for business users and is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes we’ll notify you by email or by posting a prominent notice in the Service. The “Effective” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
10. Contact
